The Image Library it’s divided into three main folders, and you can create sub-folders as needed. Follow these straightforward guidelines:
1. Product Images
This folder is for your product photos. Here are the rules to keep in mind:
- Image size: Minimum 1080 x 1080 pixels.
- File size: Maximum 5MB.
- Formats allowed: JPG, JPEG, or PNG.
For automatic linking, name your images like this:
[Product Reference]_[Number] or [Product Reference]-[Number]
- Product Reference: Must match exactly as written in your file (in the "reference" column). Spaces, capital letters, and lowercase letters are fine—they won’t affect the match.
- Number: Indicates the specific image for that product. Each reference can have up to 8 images (numbers 1 through 8 or letters A through H).
Examples:
redjersey_2
skirt98732-5
raincoat_A
tomtom-1
Prefer custom naming? That’s fine too! Just remember you’ll need to manually link images to products one by one. Automatic updates via bulk upload won’t work. To save time, consider asking your photographer to name files correctly from the start.
2. Prints & Materials
Use this folder for images of your patterns, fabrics, or materials. Here’s how to get it right:
- Image size: Minimum 250 x 250 pixels.
- File size: Maximum 2MB.
- Formats allowed: JPG, JPEG, or PNG.
When doing bulk uploads, ensure the color/print names in your file match exactly with the folder name in the Image Library (e.g., "Winter 25/26"). If they match, the system links them automatically.
What if there’s no match?
The system will create a placeholder image (“temporary image”) that you can replace later with the correct one.
3. Digital Colors
Use this folder for plain color swatches. Add these using the platform’s color picker.
- Best for: Simple products that follow standard color codes.
- Limitations: These swatches may not fully represent the real color of your product.
