Recording Payments on Invoices

Manually recording payments helps you keep track of customer invoices accurately. Here’s a quick guide on how to record and manage payments.

  1. Add a Payment Manually:

    • Open the invoice already created on your order and click on the “Record Payment” button.

    • You can easily edit or delete any recorded payments if needed.
  2. Automatically Linked Payments:

    • Payments made by credit card through Stripe are automatically linked to an order.
    • You can then manually link the Stripe payment to the invoice, just as you would with any other payment.

Useful Tip:

In the Invoices tab, you can see the total percentage paid for each invoice at a glance. You can also filter to view only invoices that haven’t been fully paid, helping you quickly identify outstanding balances.
