Adding an Agent/Rep

  1. Navigate to the Distribution Network: Start by going to the 'Distribution Network' in the main menu and click on the 'Add an Agent' button. Once you do this, your agent will receive an email inviting them to create their own free account. Remember, agents can manage multiple brands from their account, as long as they use the same email for all the brands they work with.

Tip: Make sure to use the correct email that your agent uses for their other clients. This way, they won’t end up with multiple accounts—just one central account to manage everything!

  2. Link Your Agent to Product Lines: Next, you can connect your agent to specific product lines. To do this, go to 'Pre-Orders' or 'Available in Stock' in the main menu, then head to line settings and link the agent to the desired lines. You can have different agents handling different lines, even in the same country! Once linked, agents will be able to see your product lines and start taking orders.

Removing an Agent

If you need to remove an agent, keep in mind that you can only do this if they don’t have any orders in their account. If they do have orders, you’ll need to deactivate their account instead. Here’s what happens when you deactivate an agent:

  • The agent can still view their confirmed orders for your brand, but they won’t be able to take new ones.
  • They will lose access to your collections.
  • Any unconfirmed orders will be deleted, so it’s essential to check with the agent to ensure there are no unconfirmed orders before taking this step.

General Notes on Agents

  • Both brands and distributors can have agents.
  • When you add an agent (also called a 'rep'), a new independent free account is created for them. You won’t have access to their account or address book, and they won’t have access to yours.
  • After adding an agent, you’ll need to link them to the product lines you want them to sell (found under 'Pre-orders' & 'Available in stock').
  • When a buyer places an order from a country that falls within the agent’s zone, the order goes directly to that agent. You’ll only see that an order has been initiated, but won’t have access to the details until the agent confirms the order and syncs it with your account.
