Adding 1 Line 1 product ( ONLY if you do NOT work with SKUs)

Adding 1 Line 1 product ( ONLY if you do NOT work with SKUs)

1 LINE = 1 PRODUCT

In this file, you will have one different product per line.

For each product, you will add on the same line all its prices for all sizes in all pricing zones. On that same line, you will also add all prints/colors for the product. All the information about a product is contained in ONE SINGLE line.

With this type of file, you can only add SKUs, EAN, UPC, and stocks after you have uploaded all your products.

1 LINE = 1 SKU

In this file, you will have one different SKU per line.

For each product, you will have as many lines in Excel as you have SKUs or EAN, or UPC codes.

You can also, in that same file, add all your stocks, for all of your logistics platforms.

  1. COLUMNS EXPLAINED FOR 1 LINE = 1 PRODUCT
  • Column A: Reference (compulsory). If you don't have a reference but only a style/product name, copy the style/product name into this column.
  • Column B: Item name (compulsory). If you don't have a style/product name but only a reference name, copy the reference name into this column.
  • Column C: Made in (optional). Use the dropdown in that column to select the country, DO NOT ENTER countries yourself, the system would not recognize them. If you don't want the made-in to be displayed for buyers, leave the column blank. If you have the same country for many products, you don't need to use the dropdown every time, you can either copy-paste the country or pull the data from one cell to all the following cells.
  • Column D: Item description in English (compulsory). Anything you want professional buyers to know about this product. If you're selling in packs we suggest explaining it here. If you have nothing to say (not recommended!), just enter "-" or the product name.
  • Columns E to K: Item description in other languages (optional). If a column is left empty, and a buyer is consulting the site in that language, then the buyer will see the description in English (if you don't want to translate other languages you can HIDE those columns to better work on the rest of the pending info).
  • Columns L: Item weight (optional). The item weight will be used for delivery notes to automatically calculate the total weight of a package. If you have decimals, remember to use a "." (dot) and not a "," (comma).
  • Column M: leave blank, this is just a visual helper to understand where references start.
  • Columns "Ref for xxx" (optional). Enter references here if you usually have specific references for each size. If not, leave it blank.
  • Columns "price in [pricing zone name]" (compulsory for all sizes you want to sell. If you are not selling in a specific pricing zone leave blank all sizes of that zone). There is one column for each size in all your pricing zones. If you have decimals, remember to use a "." (dot) and not a "," (comma).
  • Columns "Suggested retail price multiplier" (optional). If you have already entered a multiplier in your line's parameters and don't want a different multiplier, you can leave this column blank. If there are some products that should have a different multiplier, enter it with a "." (dot) if using decimals.
  • Columns "Colors" (optional). If you have used our digital color picker in the image library to create colors, enter their names exactly as they are named in the image library in the general file "COLOURS". If not, leave the cell in the column blank.
  • Columns "Prints" (optional). Enter the names of your prints' or materials exactly as they are named in the image library in the general file "PRINTS/COLORS".  If you have no prints/materials for a product, leave the cell in the column blank.
  • Columns "Images" (optional). Enter the names of your images exactly as they are named in the image library in the general file "IMAGES".

Expert level for the dummies! Here's a tip to save time with your images (you can apply the same trick to prints/materials and colours):

Name your images in the Image library (or better before you upload them!) exactly as your style/product reference followed by "_" and a number (which says in which position you want the picture to be), then write these formulas in the first line in each of the 9 image column:

  • column 1 > =A2&"_"&1
  • column 2 > =A2&"_"&2
  • column 3 > =A2&"_"&3
  • etcetera

explanation: it calls for the reference in cell A2, add an underscore ("_") and a number. Number 1 for the 1stcolumn, number 2 for the 2ndcolumn, etcetera

Once that is done select the all nine columns of that one line only and pull them downwards to duplicate the formula to your entire document.

  • Columns "Video for product" (optional). Enter the exact URL of your video for this product (https://www....)
  • Column "Custom HTS code" (optional).
  • Column "Custom Intrastat code" (optional).
  • Column "Custom description" (optional).
